St. Patrick’s Society were delighted to present Sr. Louise of the Fatima Centre / Good Shepherd Sisters with a 360,000 THB donation on behalf of St. Pat’s, which was raised at the annual Turkey Trot Golf event in December.
The committee paid a visit to the centre and were able to see firsthand the incredible work that Sister Louise and her team do on a daily basis. Not only do they care for severely underprivileged Thai children but also have children from Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Pakistan, Palestine and Somalia under their care.
They receive almost nothing from the government so are dependent on donations, we would ask our members, friends and supporters to help Sister Louise and her team in anyway possible. Whether that be via a cash donation or gifts of food or other products or to purchase items from the Fatima shop (all products are made in house at the centre by the residents).
