Since 1995 the annual Bangkok Sevens Rugby tournament has seen teams from around the world arrive in Thailand to thrill spectators with fast-paced rugby and bone-crunching tackles, and it has gained a reputation for being one of the best Sevens tournaments in Southeast Asia.
This year’s tournament features a Men’s Tournament (20 teams) and Women’s Competition (8 teams), and on Nov 20 – 21, a Youth Division (Boys U15s and Girls U17s) will be held at Bangkok Patana School.
Visit to watch the rugby at Klong Chan Stadium (it’s free) and as well as all the action on the pitch, you can enjoy some tasty pitch-side grub cooked-up by Tenderloins and Charlie Browns, plus chilled Tiger beer.
