Saint Patrick’s won this years Celtic Cup game vs St. Andrews and thus retain the trophy for the coming year.
Another event well organised by Jack Egan
The score was 5 games to 3 with 3 draws. We had a full turnout of 24 payers. It was a good win and the party afterwards at Bistro33 was well attended and went on until the late hours.
Jack & the committee would like to acknowledge the efforts of several persons who helped out on game day to make it a successful event.
- Ying Neylon – as usual on these event days, Ying handled the registration and the collection of the buffet and annual membership fees
- Sally Voravarn – organized the beer cart which toured the course throughout the day – A Celtic Cup tradition. Ably assisted by Carol and Andrea of the St. Andrews Society
- Tyson and Jib Powers – donated the shirts from D’ablo. The shirts were well received b the team and of very high quality
- Kevin Hulton-Smith – Organized the transportation vans from Tenderloins Soi 33 and return to the Bistro33
- Baz Osbourne of Bistro33 – The buffet and facilities were excellent
- K. Aui (Royal Golf Course) – K. Aui was my contact at the course and was very helpful as always. She also handles the Turkey Trot booking each year.
- David Morton – Sponsored the Near Pin prizes on behalf of the Optimus company, an independent Process and Safety Engineering consultancy in Bangkok.
