| Next weekend sees the first round of the widest-open Guinness 6 Nations rugby championship in years.
No matter which of the six proud nations you support –  Ireland,
 England,  France,  Italy,  Scotland or  Wales – you’ll be able to share in the passion and excitement at Scruffy’s. We will be showing all of the matches from 2 Feb. on our big screens, with full sound.
Round 1 (Saturday, 2 Feb.) sees the huge clash in Dublin between Irelandand England. Ireland are defending champions, of course, having achieved the Grand Slam last year, and are narrow tournament favourites. England will be desperate to enjoy a more successful campaign than last year when they racked up just two wins out of five. Both teams turned in impressive performances in the Autumn Internationals, but both have some injury woes. The result of this game could go a long way to deciding the 2019 champions. Kickoff: 11:45 pm.
Get down to Scruffy’s early with your green shirts on to soak up the atmosphere, the craic and the Guinness, then roar on the lads to another famous victory!
Scotland, will be quietly confident of upsetting the odds as both Edinburgh and Glasgow have featured well in the European Champions Cup. They kick start their campaign at home to Italy, perennial underdogs, at 9:15pm on Saturday.
As the tournament unfolds, in everybody’s mind will be the World Cup in Japan in September.
